St. Albert Transit (StAT) provides public transportation within the city of St. Albert and to major destinations in Edmonton.

Local route service is available to the vast majority of St. Albert residents within 400 metres of their home. Local routes take patrons to either the Village Transit Station or the St. Albert Centre Exchange. At these two locations, local routes connect to the service into Edmonton or to other local routes. Both limited-stop routes and express routes operate from these transit centres to downtown Edmonton, Government Centre, NAIT, Grant MacEwan, the University of Alberta and to West Edmonton Mall.

StAT operates 53 buses of which 20 are 18-metre-long articulated buses, and 33 are 12-metre regular buses.  All are low floor, ramp-equipped and wheelchair accessible. They travel a total of more than two million kilometres in one year and carry more than 1.25 million riders annually.

Service operates on weekdays and Saturdays from about 6 a.m. until 1 a.m. On Sundays service is from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Full details of StAT services are available at www.ridestat.ca and in a Ride Guide available at many locations throughout St. Albert or via telephone at: 780-418-6060 (Monday through Friday).
